Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)

A Mettler Toledo Thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA2 SF/1100: RT to 1100ºC) with built in gas controller and fitted with XP1U TGA balance (1gm Ultra Micro Balance, with minimum weight: 0.16 mg) is used to determine the thermal stability of samples. The data is analyzed using Software V 15.0.

A Mettler Toledo Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC3/500 System with built-in gas controller  (-85°C to 500°C in a single run at a heating rate: 0.02 to 300°C/min) fitted with FRS5+ DSC Sensor (56 Thermocouples) is used to determine thermal transitions of small molecules and polymers. Data is analyzed using STARe Base Software V 15.0.
