Biophysical characterization of extracellular vesicles (EVs) using single molecule detection (SMD) methods: a potential non-invasive diagnostic tool

Objectives: In this proposed research project, we wish to exploit the fascinating aspects scanning probe techniques along with basic biochemistry approach to investigate EVs derived from different body fluids at the single molecule level to discover potential diagnostic biomarkers. The long-term goal of this project is to develop a non-invasive diagnostic tool in future.
