Selective capture of Uranium(VI) by Phosphorous doped-graphitic carbon

Here in, our goal is to design a cost-effective remediation technology and the development of materials suitable for the encapsulation and disposal of nuclear waste. A microwave assisted synthesis of P doped graphitic material was already developed and characterized in our lab. This P containing porous material will be used for U(VI) separation.
