GC-MS

The Agilent single quadrupole 5977B GC/MSD with 7890B gas chromatograph (GC) system is located in the Catalysis lab (A203). It is a hybrid analytical technique that couples the separation capabilities of GC with the detection properties of MS to provide a higher efficiency of sample analyses and ideal for labs that focus on applications such as environmental, chemical, petrochemical, food, forensic, pharmaceutical, and material testing.

GC-MS facility hosted at Shiv Nadar University is managed by the Chemistry Department, School of Natural Sciences. GC/MS personal compound databases and libraries (PCDLs) are available with the facility.
